Every birth is different and for us, our firstborn son with Down syndrome came into the world peacefully and smoothly. It's a journey filled with joy, love, and challenges, but no matter the difficulties, the love and joy that a baby brings is worth it. Watching my wife's waves (contractions) was a breakthrough. Being supportive of her, whether at home or in the hospital, is very important. Breathing together and being in sync with the waves while massaging her was incredible support. The moment of birth with all its emotions was so moving and energizing that it left every cell of my body moving. The union of the physical with the spiritual creates an indescribable feeling of bliss and fulfillment within you. When our baby son, Steven, arrived, I became a father forever. I will never be able to thank God, my wife, and my son enough for starting fatherhood in me. Now it's not just my wife and me, it's us.
